Sr. Voice & Data Engineer - San Francisco Bay Area

Packet Fusion is currently seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer with voice and data knowledge for our Bay Area Office.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for providing pre- and post sales support, on-site customer technical support and service, and detailed system configuration and implementation for voice and IT solutions. Products supported will include Nortel and 3COM product lines with special emphasis on Nortels' Business Communication Manager, Meridian and Norstar products. Develop and customize solutions packages based on customer needs, provide technical support and training to internal staff as well as client staff. Note: Networking knowledge a plus.

Requires: BS-EE or CE plus 5 years experience in job offered /Telecom engineering.

Also Requires: Nortel Networks Design Specialist Certification and Nortel Networks Account Specialist certifications; Experience supporting Nortels CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) applications; Knowledge of following Operating Systems: Currnet MS and MS Windows NT/2000 servers; VXworks Real-time OS HW platforms: Nortel Networks Meridian 1/Succession series platforms; CallPilot Multimedia Messaging Server; Symposium Contact Center Server and 3COM NBX platforms.

Excellent communication, co-ordination and presentation skills will be required.
